Fair use

Our fair use policy is designed to ensure that all users of the genepool have a consistent and reliable experience. By using the genepool, you agree to comply with our fair use policy. We may suspend or terminate your access to the genepool if we determine that your usage is in violation of our fair use policy.

Content

As a rule of thumb, you should not use the genepool in a way that is excessive or unreasonable.
Any use to share or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive is strictly prohibited.
This includes all content that is unrelated to the purpose of the genepool, spam, malware, or other harmful content. Using the genepool to share media like videos, music, or other large files that are unrelated to virtual machine provisioning is also prohibited.

Limits

The genepool has limits on the amount of resources you can use. These limits apply to all users of the genepool, regardless of whether you have a subscription or not.

Content less than 1 MB in size is not considered for storage limits, which excludes content such as catlet and fodder genes from storage limits.

Organization without subscriptions

Additional limits apply to organizations that do not have a subscription.
